THE MACHINE DID ROTATE AS STATED, HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO RESISTENCE AND I COULDN’T FEEL THE IMPACT OF HAVING EXERCISED.I THOUGHT IT COULD BE USED TO GET ME MOTIVATED, BUT I REALIZED THAT MY REGULAR, TENSION ADJUSTED,

EXERCISE BIKE PROVED TO BE BETTER. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE CREDIT OR A REFUND FOR THE BIKE EVENTHOUGH IT WAS SENT BACK LONG AGO.

This piece of equipment is really only good for someone who is really infirmed. There is no way to increase the resistance, so you can’t improve from where you started. I sent it back. If you are elderly and have no muscle mass and don’t really want to develop any, then this piece of equipment is for you.

Can’t understand this product – actually helps you pedal… maybe good for someone doing rehab? no resistance provided in pedals even though would appear to have inner gears and overall floor weight to do it.. wish mfc had told me – I’m going to try to get refund

I’ve been suffering with severe back pain for over 5 years and it’s difficult to exercise without making matters worse. I have a regular stationary bike and just 10 minutes on it can set me back for days, making my good intentions counter productive. A friend came across this Sunny Motorized Bike and suggested it to me and I’m so glad they did!

I’d never heard of a ‘motorized bike’ before, and in doing some research, it seemed perfect for me. As the name suggests, the bike has a motor in it that assists with pedaling. If your feet aren’t on the pedals, you can actually see them spinning round and round as if someone is using it. There’s a hand held unit that adjusts the timer, power and speed, which can be adjusted to your liking. And there’s also a separate digital calorie counter and readout on the bike itself. Since the bike is motorized, you will need to plug it in. Though you can also use it without the motor assist and leave it unplugged or turned off.

Obviously, you want to get situated before turning it on, but I find the motor assisted pedaling very helpful. I’ve only just started with this Sunny and I’m already able to pedal for 20 minutes! I’ve never been able to even come close to that with my traditional exercise bike. And best of all, NO PAIN! Well, aside from my normal pain — what I mean is this Sunny causes no additional pain, whereas my traditional exercise bike did. Needless to say, I’m very encouraged. I’m confident I could go longer than 20 minutes but want to take it slow and not hurt myself.

    Is this a “Real Workout?”

I’ve seen a few reviews where people are complaining that this Sunny doesn’t offer a ‘real’ workout. Well, I think this comes down to a matter of common sense — if you’re in good health and looking for a workout, than this is not the bike for you. This is a specialized piece of equipment for those with special needs and physical handicaps. For us, this Sunny DOES offer a real workout that matches our capability. It’s completely unfair for an able bodied person to buy this then give it a negative review because they failed to educate themselves beforehand. This bike is AWESOME for those of us that need to be physically active but lack the capacity to workout like others would on regular equipment.

    A word about slippage:

A few reviews have also mentioned that the unit easily slips around on the floor. I have not experienced this at all but did take precautionary steps just to be safe. For one, I use this unit on a carpeted floor, which helps. Additionally, I bought a non slip pad for a dollar and place that underneath the unit just to be sure it has good traction. Between the carpet and non slip pad, I have not experienced any slipping or sliding. I imagine it might if I placed it on a table and tried to do an arm workout, but I haven’t done that yet. Though I’m confident the non slip pad would keep it in place, even on the table.

Bottom Line — I’m VERY happy with this purchase and glad I bought this! And as far as I know, Amazon is the only one offering free shipping which is a big savings! I highly recommend this Sunny Motorized Bike to anyone that may have some sort of physical limitation and is looking for a way to keep active. Obviously you should ask your own doctor and gauge your expectations; we’re all different. But for me, I’m thrilled I made this purchase and wish I would have found out about this long ago. I could have saved myself years of additional pain. But I have it now, and I’m glad!

my wife has Parkinson’s disease and this machine has been helpful in providing exercise for her that she would not otherwise be doing. It moves her legs and does not hurt in the process. We recommend it.
